We're open
In line with NHS Highland direction, your GP practice will no longer be responsible for the delivery of vaccinations and immunisations (including Child Immunisations) effective 1st March 2023. NHS Highland have information about the changes here.
After 1 March 2023, all immunisations will be provided by NHS Highland, via Board run clinics held in the community. Patients eligible for vaccination or immunisation will be invited via letter – from a central booking service – to attend or book the appointment.
Patients can direct questions about child or adult immunisations to the NHS Highland Service Delivery Centre (SDC) helpline:
Phone: 08000 320 339, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-5:00pm.
Email: nhsh.covidvaccine@nhs.scot
NHS Highland requests that patients wait for an appointment invitation letter before contacting the NHS Highland SDC to make an appointment.
TRAVEL VACCINES
‘Community Pharmacies’ will now deliver vaccines and immunisations required for foreign travel. This service will no longer be provided by your GP Practice. The details of pharmacies providing this service can be found on the NHS Highland website, which will continue to be updated as pharmacies go live.
You should seek advice from a pharmacy or private travel clinic at least 8 weeks before you’re due to travel. Travel clinics can be found in most major towns/cities. Currently, the nearest travel clinics to Skye are in Inverness – an internet search will provide you with the details of those available.
