About Portree Medical Centre

Portree Medical Practice was established in 1975 by the combination of Practices in Uig, Staffin and Portree.  The Practice area covers the Trotternish peninsula, extending as far south as Sconser and as far west as Kildonan. We also provide medical services on the Island of Raasay. The Partners also work as medical officers for Portree Community Hospital.

We are an approved training practice, working with NHS Education for Scotland training doctors who want to be general practitioners.  We also take undergraduate students from the University of Dundee.

Our aim at Portree Medical Centre is to provide the highest quality healthcare and advice, treating every person with dignity and respect whilst working in partnership with them, in a safe and friendly environment.
